Preparation

    1. To prepare, wash, quarter and core the apples, then wash and peel the celery.
    2. Slice the washed apples and celery into thin, bite-sized strips. Roughly chop about 3/4 of the walnuts and all of the dates, and season the mayonnaise with a pinch of salt. Then whip the cream until stiff and fold into the seasoned mayonnaise.
    3. For the salad, put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well, then pour the sauce over it and let everything cool for about 2 hours
    4. Mix well again before serving and garnish with the remaining walnuts.
